Contemporary Extension, Liberton, Edinburgh
Located in Liberton, Edinburgh this contemporary two storey extension to a traditional sandstone, one and a half storey semi, provided our Client with much needed additional living space for their growing family.
At ground floor the extension comprises a new open plan kitchen, dining, and family room along with a shower room, utility area, boot room, and lock up.
At first floor the extension provides a new bathroom and a new master bedroom with feature picture window.
The smooth buff render and grey zinc complement the sandstone and leadwork of the original house and combine to give the design an unfussy and bold aesthetic.
Completed on site in 2018.
